Prayers go up, Blessings come down.

Most of us don't recognize blessings as blessings, infact we view them as our achievements. Hence we judge them against our worth or level of hard-work put to attain them.

A blessing is the "infusion" of one's hope, divine/ God/Allah's will, spiritual redemption, forgiveness or absolution and goodness for the one.

Blessings drop their blossoms all around you. ~ Maulana Rumi

To be blessed means to be favored by God/ Allah. And He is all powerful and just. One can't expect even a milli or micro spec of injustice from Him. So whatever He bestows (material or non-materialistic) is fair. It is never earned it is reaped.

We should pray that we understand and respect the bestowed blessings. Because if it's not a blessing than it must be a lesson.
